You'll learn how to cut and measure accurately, use tools, and make adjustments, plus make bowties, flying geese and 9-patch blocks. Beyond Beginning - ""

Don’t wait a whole year to get a sampler completed. Finish this beautiful 12-block sampler in four weeks! Each block is unique so you learn new techniques such as how to make half square triangles, snowballs and lots more. You’ll make bear paw, Aztec star, birds in flight, desert bloom and eight other blocks. If you’ve taken Beginning Quilting, this is a great next step. If you’re a seasoned quilter, you’ll enjoy doing something different in each class. Book Required: Southwest Sampler $80

 Feng Shui - "

This quilt is done with fat quarters and large scraps. The sample was made with batiks and measures 81" x 81". The pattern has instructions for 6 sizes from 37½" x 37½" to 93¾" x 93¾". Depending on your choice of fabrics, this quilt can look contemporary or soft and elegant. Pattern Required: Feng Shui $25

Irish Mist - ""

This quilt pattern was taken from a marble floor design of an ancient Irish church outside of Killarney, Ireland. You will learn to make various sized flying geese and incorporate them with rectangles and squares to create nine different stars. Six half yard cuts plus the background and border create this 68” x 80” quilt. Book Required: Six Halves Make a Whole Lot More $35

Little Charmers - "

Love those 5" charm squares! Here is a pattern with 3 choices of table runners. You can make one or all three in class. These runners mare very special gifts. NOTE: Charm squares are 5" fabric squares. Pattern Required: Little Charmers III $25

Sweet and Sour - ""

You will learn to make blocks from strata. What are strata? They are panels of various width fabric strips sewn together in a random manner. Each strip varies in cut width from 1” to 2¼”. Because we start with fat quarters, strip lengths are either 18” or 21” long. The finished size of the strata panels will depend on the block size. The use of many fabrics adds both dimension and depth to this lovely quilt. Book Required: Stratavarious Quilts  $25

Sit and Sew - "

Meet with Emily twice a month and finish your UFOs (UnFinished Objects). Registration and payment prior to the session is required.
